100,000 Homes – Making Progress Through Persistence
From May 16-May 20, 2011 the 100,000 Homes Campaign came to Philadelphia, and HAP was there! The 100,000 Homes Campaign is a national campaign started and operated by New-York-based Common Ground, with the goal of placing the 100,000 most vulnerable, long-term homeless individuals across the country into homes by July, 2013. Read about the experience of one of our summer interns as he participated in the 100,000 Homes Campaign's Philadelphia Outreach Week and had his first introduction to working with the homeless on the streets of Philadelphia.
